you receive when you pass 

      your Yellow Level.

 

TO GET YOUR YELLOW BELT IN JAPANESE, YOU NEED TO COMPLETE READING, WRITING, LISTENING, SPEAKING IN JAPANESE.

                                    YOU NEED TO GET A WHITE BELT, YELLOW TIP FROM YOUR TEACHER (TESTS) IN ALL 4 OF THESE AREAS.

STEP 1. PRINT OUT OR LOOK AT SCRIPT FOR YELLOW BADGE CONVERSATION (click)

 

STEP 2.  LISTEN TO THE SOUND FILE TO HEAR HOW TO PRONOUNCE THE WORDS IN THE CONVERSATION

 

 

 

STEP 3. GO THROUGH THE FLASHCARDS TO UNDERSTAND THE KEY WORDS

1. Go through the flashcards. Turn on the sound and make sure the Japanese word is said first. You must know the ENGLISH meaning for the Japanese words. There are about 40 words altogether. 

 

TRY A PRACTICE TEST. TYPE IN THE ENGLISH ANSWERS TO THE WORDS THAT YOU HEAR

(Use scroll bar if you are having difficulty seeing everything) .

Make sure you TICK the "See Japanese first" box

IF YOU KNOW EVERYTHING ABOVE, YOU ARE NOW READY TO SEE YOUR TEACHER FOR YOUR SPEAKING AND LISTENING TEST
